Right, so even after having missed most of the auditions, and not really following the Semi-Finals, I could not resist this. After all, this is the Grand Finale of the Britain’s Got Talent Series 4. 10 acts battling out tonight for the 100k grand prize and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety performance. So who are the acts?
Spellbound: I was ‘spellbound’ by their jaw dropping performance in their auditions. I failed to watch their Semi-Final performance, but surely, this act deserves to be here and possibly more.
Tobias Mead: The YouTube sensation of the year, with the Joker mask, remember? His Semi-Final performance wasn’t as strong as his audition. And I strongly feel, he does not have what it takes to be the winner this year.
Tina and Chandi: I love, love, love this act period. Don’t you?
Connected: Yet another silly boy band in the making. Next!
Paul Burling: His impressionist act of Harry Hill in the Semis was funny. But his act has a few loose ends. He needs to make tonight’s performance more crisp and he should see the votes flowing in.
Christopher Stone: The balding accountant turned opera singer – meh!
Janey Cutler: Bless. If she can perform at this age, I say, Go Girl!
Twist and Pulse: Mind-blowingly Brilliant, and one of my favourite acts to win tonight. Now we have seen dance acts, but these guys have a wicked sense of comedy in their act which is very awesome.
Kieran Gaffney: The drummer boy, who makes it to the Finals this year. Can we see an encore of George Sampson happen? The audience certainly loves him.
Liam McNally: Yet another Andrew Johnston, only no bullying issues. And Liam looks quite the cute and innocent guy. And Simon loves him too.
So there you go, the 10 finalists. Unlike the previous years, there is no clear favourite to win the finals tonight. It is as open as it can be, and anyone could win the 100k prize. I’ll be watching it live and blogging it as it happens. The show begins: 7:30 pm London time. See you then. Cheerio!
LIVEBLOG after the jump
Live from London, we are here for the Finals of Britain’s Got Talent. Welcome everyone to the Liveblog. After months of auditions, this is the final night of the competition. The judges are here. And as usual, the music that is playing whilst the judges are taking their seats is – Kesha – Tick Tock [ I am addicted to this track quite secretively ]. Some patriotic talk from Piers Morgan, and then some more from Simon Cowell. Amanda has a trimmed hairdo, but we can not care less. Over to the acts.
The first act of the night – Twist and Pulse.

There’s something about these guys which make them stand apart from other dance acts is their wicked sense of humour in their dance routine.
Their act is absolutely innovative. They have included very cool nods to Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny and much more. The dance routine was very tight and brilliantly choreographed. Simon has mentioned it very correctly, they are a very current act. All kids will relate to them, and yes, they are gonna make a fortune in commercials. So, here they are – Twist and Pulse – Code: 01
Vote Vote!! 9 more acts to go. BRB after the break!
——————————————————————————————————-
And we are back from the break. Next up is Liam McNally from Manchester- the very young and innocent singer. Will he be able to make his act step up a level.

Whatta voice, what a pitch and the vibrato is brilliant. Let’s see what the judges say.
Piers: You’ve got extraordinary confidence for a kid your age..you could’ve not done anymore.
Amanda: You sang that beautifully…very courageous and brave performance.
Simon: I loved you the first time, second time – I wasn’t very crazy about the song, tonight – astonishingly, you were note perfect. That was your best performance.
There you go, Liam McNally – Code: 02. Time for another break. Back in a bit.
——————————————————————————————————-
Next up, comedian, impersonator from Bristol – Paul Burling. Comedy has the risk of falling flat, hopefully for Paul it works well. Here we go.

I am not sure how this act is going. I can make out some of the impersonations, but I’m clueless about most of it. I think his Harry Hill routine in the Semis was much better. But the audience seems entertained. Let’s see what the judges say.
Piers: Loved it Paul. Didn’t like the Jeremy Clarkson one, but then I don’t like Jeremy Clarkson anyway.
Amanda: I’d like this act to win and go to the Royal Variety.
Simon: 100% it was the right decision not to go with the Harry Hill.
There you go, Paul has got some really good comments. His code: 03.
Next up: Christopher Stone – the balding accountant. I am not very keen on this act tbh. But let’s see, whether his final performance changes my opinion.

I like his performance this time around. Very powerful vocals and a standing ovation. Phew. That was something. And some great onstage confidence. Over to the judges.
Piers: What a moment for you on the show. Unrecognisable. Give up being an accountant. You should be on a West End show.
Amanda: It just touched me, it was so much heart.
Simon: You are a naturally gifted singer.
There you go, Christopher Stone – 04. Is he going to be this year’s winner?
6 more acts to go. Be right back from the break.
——————————————————————————————————-
And we are back to the show. Next up – Tina and Chandi.

An animal act winning BGT would be absolutely brilliant. I love this act, and Chandi is possibly the most talented dog I’ve ever seen. Let’s see how this act shapes up.
Let’s face the music and dance – and so they did. The most cute act of the competition. Well done, well done! Loved it.
Piers: Not sure if that was the best routine. But it doesn’t matter. Such a special chemistry.
Amanda: Another fantastic routine. Very entertaining. The bond between you is just amazing.
Simon: She’s in a human years – a 100. She seems tired.
I loved it, and I really hope Tina and Chandi win it tonight. Their code is – 05.
Next act- a boy band from Manchester – Connected.
Now, I am not very much into boybands. So I’m not the right person to comment on this. But hang on, they’re performing a Daughtry song – What about now. I love that song, oh I get it – it is the Westlife cover.

The harmonies are quite good. But still, my vote does not go for them at least. Over to the judges.
Piers: You can hear the girls scream in the audience. Great song choice tonight.
Amanda: Fantastic performance. Nice to have a boy band who are boys and not MEN. Win or not, you guys are gonna be massive.
Simon: I wasn’t as crazy as the Semis. You’re turning into a Tribute band. I like you guys, but I’m not gonna lie to you.
There yo go, Connected – 06.
Next act – Drummer from Kent – Kieran Gaffney

Simon’s concern is how can he top last night’s performance. Hmm!! It is his trademark performance to Wipe Out accompanied by silly cheerleaders who are very ROFL stuff btw
That was a brilliant drumming extravaganza. But let’s see if the judges liked it.
Piers: You’ve got unbelievable talent at drumming.
Amanda: Those drums were on fire tonight.
Simon: If it was your idea to do the floating thing, it shows that you are a Show Man. That was better than yesterday.
His code: 07. I have a funny feeling that Kieran is probably getting very close to winning this, if not winning it.
Time for a break. After the break, 3 more acts – Tobias Mead, Spellbound and Janey Cutler. You know you don’t want to miss it.
——————————————————————————————————-
We are back from the break. Time now for some Tobias Mead.

You know who he is. Let me just watch it in complete attention. Hehe!
The vampire twist definitely works for me. The dance is still a bit confusing, but the popping is brilliant. He certainly could win this.
Piers: You are a showman. You’ve put on a show. I could see it in Las Vegas.
Amanda: You’re creativity and imagination is second to none, and you’re FIT.
Simon: You’ve turned it up a notch and the twilight thing.
His code: 08. VOTE VOTE.
Next up: Janey Cutler.

OMG, is she singing Edith Piaf? Let’s see what the judges say.
Piers: You’re a remarkable lady.
Amanda: You look absolutely stunning.
Simon: You are one gutsy lady.
Well, everyone’s speaking about her being a brave lady who missed the first part, but she caught up in the second. But seriously, for a lady her age to perform on Live Telly, that’s really something. Her code: 09.
Time for a break. But the last act coming up is – Spellbound. Brb!
——————————————————————————————————-
Welcome back to the Live finals. The final act of the night – from London - Spellbound.

If I was to choose a single act which truly deserves to win and perform at the Royal Variety, this is the act. They are actually the act to beat. I really hope and pray that they leave me and the entire audience completely Spellbound.
Okay, did everyone see the guy flying over the judges desk. That was bloody brilliant. Even if they do a repeat of the auditions, it is going to be insanely wicked. This is sooooooo damn good. Speechless. BRAVO. I think, we have the winners. Just WOW!
Over to the judges.
Piers: You show the world how brilliant Britain is.
Amanda: So professional, so slick. We are hosting the 2012 Olympics, and what an opening act.
Simon: Putting it into Olympics terms, you’d win the Gold Medal.
No broken bones, no injuries. There yo go – Spellbound – no.10. And with them, there goes the 100k.
THE LINES ARE NOW OPEN to vote.
A quick recap of the acts, and my mini prediction of the winner.
Twist & Pulse: Looking back, they definitely are one of the stronger acts of the night.
Liam McNally: Does not feature in the Top 3.
Paul Burling: Hmm, sorry to say not in the Top 3 either.
Christopher Stone: Possibly in the Top 3, but not winning this, fo sho!
Tina and Chandi: Yes, they are at least taking the runners up spot.
Connected: On no. 10 of the night.
Kieran Gaffney: No 8, considering Janey is no.9
Tobias Mead: Seriously, strong contender.
Janey Cutler: No 9 for me. Sorry love!
Spellbound: The act to beat.
So here we go, my prediction is – it is a fight between Tobias Meed vs. Spellbound.
Time for another break. After the break – Usher performs. Be back!
——————————————————————————————————-
So we are back from the break. Time for some Usher.

Performing his latest single – OMG , Usher’s new track is quite catchy, and certainly will be the next chart topper. I wonder if Piers likes it though
And time for another break. Coming up after the break is – James Corden and Dizzy Rascal’s World Cup Single. Hmm!!
——————————————————————————————————-
The World Cup single – Shout was actually very very catchy. I am so downloading it. Now, if England has a chance at winning the Cup is ahem! quite questionable, but the track was good , what say? After the break, the winners are to be announced.

We continue with the Final Results on here. C’mon don’t be shy, hit the link. Ok, here we go again. The link again, below.
