69th Golden Globe Awards, 2012 : Roundup [GIF Mania]

by Sujoy on January 19, 2012

Welcome back to Page 2 of the

Golden Globe Awards 2012 coverage in GIFs.

Back to where we left, the first penis joke of the night was when Jane Lynch and Tina Fey took the stage, and high fived.

Let’s do a bit of a rewind, and have some of Gervais shall we. Let’s see what he has to say about Kim Kardashian.

Moving on, Meryl Streep had the shock of her life as she won Best Actress for Iron Lady, beating favourite Viola Davis. And she forgot her glasses, and David Fincher refused to pass her glasses. Hehe. But she did thank Viola in her speech – probably coz she knows that Viola WILL be taking home the Oscar.

My favourite character of all the TV series this year, Jessica Lange (Constance Langdon) received her well deserved Best Supporting actress award for American Horror Story.

And George Clooney, wins Best Actor for his role in The Descendants. And for his acceptance speech, he thought it’d be appropriate to mention Michael Fassbender’s schlong.

But someone was clearly not happy with Clooney winning the Best Actor title. It is heartbreaking to see Leonardo Dicaprio not getting recognised for his epic role in J Edgar.

Most deserving Octavia Spencer got her Best Supporting Actress trophy for her “Eat Maah Shit” role in The Help.

And finally, The Artist won the Best Film / Comedy or Musical. And they brought the dog along. Izkyoot moment of the show.

That was the show. We haven’t covered some winners on this post. Such as Michelle Williams winning for that Marilyn Monroe movie, Idris Elba won for Luther, Martin Scorsese won Best Director for Hugo, and Woody Allen won Best screenplay for Midnight in Paris. Tintin won the Best animation movie, whilst The Separation won the Best Foreign language movie. And that is a wrap phew! We’ll be back with Oscars in some time. Until then cheerio!
