Drawing100 – 47. Creation

Number 47 on the list is – Creation. In pop culture, there are many references to the God-complex thing. From Frankestein to Jurassic Park to i-Robot. But none of them share the flair of Tony Stark.

Creation - Tony Stark, Iron Man sketch

Here seen in his lab with the alpha version of the Iron Man suit, this is possibly one of my favourite scenes from the first movie.

Drawing100 – 46. Family

After more than 2 months of hibernation, and procrastination, and dealing with life’s many struggles (read: laziness), I am back and pushing it hard to continue with the Draw100 challenge.

And what a topic to come back with. Family. And representing this topic are our very familiar Ponds / Williams – Rory, Amy, the Doctor and River.

Hope you like it, and please leave your encouraging comments below. They help a lot. I am not sure if I can do these on a daily basis, but I will try to get done with the challenge before Christmas. Let’s see how the second innings turns out to be.

Drawing100 – 35. Holy My Hand

Yes, today’s post is a bit of a late one. I have been bombarded with stuff. I got a new tablet, which had the wrong hardware spec. So I was ..urgghhh. Nevermind. Hold My Hand – the first thought that came to my head was – Terminator telling Sarah Connor to hold his hand. Y’know, in that prison corridor scene. But I ruled against it. And that is because of the influence of the recent announcement of the Man of Steel sequel at SDCC 2013. Zack Snyder announced that Batman is joining Superman in the next MOS movie. So, today’s sketch is a bit influenced by that. It was a bright summer afternoon, and Superman had  hired a photographer specifically to put himself in God’s shoes.

Batman on the other hand isn’t impressed at all.

Hold My Hand - Superman Batman

I messed up the inking on Batman a bit, and then one thing led to another, and before I even realised, all his fingers were gone. Sorry about that. I could clean it on Photoshop, but I’m just too tired.

Drawing100 – 34. Stars

On today’s topic Stars, I wanted to draw something Star Wars related. But then, I thought that’d be a bit too obvious. So, I went ahead and thought of mashing things up. Here are three stars – and one of them isn’t too happy to join the league. LSP – you’re such a diva!

LSP: Err…whatever, I don’t even like you. You’re just jealous of my lump. Lump off.

Stars - Captain America, Wonder Woman, LSP

Hope you liked my little mashup of Captain America, Wonder Woman, and Lumpy Space Princess. Also, please do ignore the mess-up in the colouring. I was really lazy I know. But hey, I did that all on my laptop trackpad.
