X Factor Live Results : Week 3

by Sujoy on October 24, 2010

So after last week’s highly manipulative theme of Guilty pleasures, we are on tonight to find out which one act will get eliminated. There will be 11 finalists after tonight’s results show, and oh, Michael Buble and Cheryl Cole are performing tonight. Speaking of Cheryl, how annoyingly awkward was last night’s Piers Morgan Life stories show. I know, I watched it, and I am embarrassed about it. I felt bad for Cheryl, but Piers Morgan asks some of the most piercing and stupid questions on telly. But that’s enough about that. The X Factor live results go live at 8 pm London time. See you then.

So we are live now. 12 acts still remaining, but one act is leaving. The X Factor voice is getting more and more annoying. And so is the flashing editing. Calm the fuck down. BTW, I am rooting for Wagner :) And I want Belle Amie to go home tonight. Why is there a heartbeat silence intro to Cheryl’s introduction thingie. Anywho, here we go. The big X is flying all over the globe, and it has landed in London.

X Factor top 12

Dermot is here. He promises Cheryl’s single debuts here tonight. Oh really! Well, the judges have entered the arena. I like Louis’ jacket. And bow ties are cool. Time for the ensemble performance tonight. The highlight of the whole routine was Mary’s vocals, and Wagner blowing the cover – it was all lipsync baby.

Time for a recap of last night’s show:

Paije: He was good, no shit.

John: Man, he can sing. But, his routine was really all over the place. And he’s a boring performer overall.

X Factor Live results: Week 2

by Sujoy on October 17, 2010

I am not even sorry for not liveblogging last night’s show. It was BORING. Katy Perry and that girl from X-Factor a couple of years back are singing tonight.

We open with a Glee inspired cover of Lady Gaga’s Telephone. Dermot reminds us that they need to make money, so you better download that cover song on iTunes.

X Factor finalists - Week 2

A recap of last night’s performances –  the sort of two minute compilation that serves as a more than adequate replacement for actually watching the Saturday show.

Storm was scary in his dynamic rockstar avatar.

TreyC’s Purple rain was screechy, but the judges think she was better than sliced bread.

Paije’s coat has bobby print.

One direction – well, let’s just say that I am not the target audience.

Cher – well, she is not here to sing, isn’t she?

John – one word, boring.

Diva Fever – well, that’s Entertainment.

Rebecca – Her lips are poisonous. But her performance was very cool.

Aiden – the possessed singer, and he admits it that it was rubbish.

Wagner – Vote for him! And whoa, the dancers groped.

Katie – We don’t need another Duffy.

Belle Amie – No we don’t get you.

Mary – genius as ever

Matt Cardle – weak performance compared to last week’s. And boy, he’s losing his hair.

X Factor 2010 – Week 1 results

by Sujoy on October 10, 2010

Right e o. The results show is live now. And two acts are getting eliminated tonight. And I hope it’s the worse acts – Wagner , Belle Amie, FYD, and Katie. Any two of those getting eliminated would make me happy. But I would be really happy if Nicolo was to get knocked out.

And just in case you forgot how Joe McElderry looked like, he’ll be performing tonight , and so will Usher.

As is the routine, the 16 finalists are performing together. And I cannot ignore how much Cher looks like Cheryl.

Cher Lloyd - XFactor

They are performing another single which I am not aware of – This is the rhythm of the night.  And Belle Amie and One Direction’s cacophony is camouflaged by the louder vocals of the others.

Time for a quick recap of the performances of last night.

FYD: Meh! Meh! Meh!

Matt : Awesome performance – Wrong looks. [click to continue…]

X Factor 2010 – Live Show 1 – Number 1′s

by Sujoy on October 10, 2010

I don’t know about you, but this year’s X Factor has been quite dull. I don’t really feel interested. With all this press talk that people keep blabbering about Gamu and Cher and all that. Frankly, not even single piece of fuck is given by me. And yet, I am blogging about the first live show of this year’s X Factor. Primarily because, tonight’s live show was more about style, and who looks like whom, more than vocals and talent. Yes, there were some good vocal performances, but everything else was like a circus of entertainers. And if you did not fall into any of those extreme categories, you just got lost in the black hole of mediocrity.

And to start with, the big twist this year, each judge gets to pick a wild card, so its going to be not final 12 , but like final 16 performing live. That’s way too much, and at this point I am worried about my health after watching all these 16 performances. So, the judges ( more like make-up and facelift resultants ) take their seats, and the performances begin to roll. As I said earlier, it’s a whole lotta freak show tonight.

Starting with.. FYD

FYD - X Factor

They’re just Meh! And yes, they are the ones to enter that black hole of mediocrity the first. I really did not get interested in hearing their rendition of Billionaire.
